Friends,

Abdu'l-Baha said this regarding takfir and labeling people kafir:

"While in all past religious books and epistles, the world of humanity has been divided into two parts; one called the people of the
Book, or the Pure Tree, and the other, the Evil Tree. One half of the people of the world were looked upon as belonging to the
faithful, and the other as belonging to the irreligious and the infidel; one half of the people were consigned to the mercy of the
Creator, and the other half were considered as objects of the wrath of their Maker. But Baha'u'llah proclaimed the Oneness of the
World of humanity-He submerged all mankind in the Sea of Divine Generosity."

Please note the Reform Bahai Faith follows Abdu'l-Baha in terms
of takfir and kafir and emphatically rejects the practice of
other Bahai denominations in this regard.

I've never seen any Baha'i group use the term takfir.

Yes, Fred is setting up another of his straw men. He has no integrity,
has he? And of course his faithful supporter Nima cannot resist
joining in and kicking up a bit of dust.

I probably should say that only Fred's group uses that term.

On the other hand, there is no group. Just Freddie.

A Baha'i denomination of one.

Lots of chutzpah from people who claim/lie about 6 million adherents
worldwide when actual figures place a best case scenario as less than
500,000, if even that. Then again, lot's of broken glass but few
diamonds.

But I thought that different denominations could not exist within Bahai.

<cough> Bullshit!

The writings of Husayn 'Ali Nari are full to the brim with 'Us' &
'Them' language and imagery. Such vacuous platitudes by Abbas Effendi
are just that.
